Often, the used tire only be a pile of garbage or material burnt. The fabric used found at dump. But, by the creative hands, priceless thing like this become something interesting and useful. Can you imagine that the tire and fabric used become wonderful thing like this? This is the sofa made from colored used tires and fabric used.

Seringkali, ban bekas hanya menjadi tumpukan sampah atau bahan bakaran. Kain-kain bekas atau sisa pabrik ditemukan menumpuk di tempat sampah. Namun, oleh tangan-tangan kreatif, sesuatu yang tidak bernilai ini menjadi sesuatu yang menarik dan berguna. Dapatkah kamu membayangkan ban bekas dan kain-kain bekas menjadi sesuatu seindah ini? Ini adalah sofa yang berasal dari ban-ban bekas yang diwarnai dan berisikan kain-kain bekas.

This monument located in Kota Baru circle. Officially signed by The Mayor of Pontianak, Sutarmidji, S.H., M.Hum., on 17^th May 2010. The shape of this monument mean the symbol from geographical site of Pontianak City that separated by Kapuas River and Landak River. The ball shape in the center look alike with the fish gills motif which is the special cloth motif of Melayu Pontianak. In the center of the ball will be found “Pontianak 1771” mean Pontianak City officially exist on 1771.

Tugu ini berlokasi di bundaran Kota Baru. Diresmikan dan ditandatangani oleh Walikota Pontianak H. Sutarmidji, S.H., M.Hum pada 17 Mei 2010.  Bentuk dari tugu ini adalah simbol dari letak geografis Kota Pontianak yang dipisah oleh Sungai Kapuas dan Sungai Landak. Bentuk bola di bagian tengah menyerupai motif corak insang yang adalah motif kain khas Melayu Pontianak. Di tengah bola terdapat tulisan “Pontianak 1771” yang melambangkan Kota Pontianak lahir pada tahun 1771.

You may ever see this flower. It's called with Kenop flower. Kenop flower are originate from America and Asian.

Commonly, this flower only use for decorate plant because the bright violet color. But actually, this flower have some benefit because it's contains with Gomprhenin and Amarathin. This flower can use for :                                       

1. Increase appetite.

2. Cure not smooth urination.

3. Reduce sore or scar.

4. Treat dysentery.

Kamu pasti pernah melihat bunga ini. Bunga ini dikenali sebagai bunga kenop. Bunga kenop berasal dari kawasan Amerika dan Asia. Biasanya bunga ini hanya sebagai tumbuhan hias karena warna ungunya yang cerah. Namun ternyata, bunga kenop memiliki beberapa manfaat karena mengandung Gomprhenin dan Amarathin. Bunga ini bermanfaat untuk :

1. Menambah nafsu makan.

2. Mengatasi buang air kecil yang tidak lancar.

3. Mengobati luka dan bekas luka.

4. Mengobati disentri.

It's a thing that familiar for us. Almost everyday, we always enjoy this wonderful view. It's commonly called by twilight. Twilight divided into three sort. That is :

1. Civil Twilight, where the sun under horizon line on 30 minutes before sink and before rise which is always called with sunset and sunrise.

2. Nautical Twilight, when the magnitude stars can seen. In past, this time are used for determine ship position with measure stars height.

3. Astronomical Twilight, the dark twilight and the horizon are invisible. Start from 1,5 hour after sunset and be the right time to star-gazing.

Sesuatu yang sudah sangat familiar bagi kita. Hampir setiap hari, kita menikmati pemandangan yang indah ini. Biasanya ini disebut dengan senja. Senja terbagi menjadi 3 macam, yaitu :

1. Senja Sipil, dimana matahari di bawah garis horizon selama 30 menit sebelum tenggelam dan terbit yang mana kita kenali sebagai sunset dan sunrise.

2. Senja Nautis, senja dimana bintang bermagnitudo dapat terlihat. Dulu, saat ini digunakan untuk menentukan posisi kapal dengan mengukur ketinggian bintang.

3. Senja Astronomi, senja yang gelap horizon tidak terlihat. Dimulai dalam 1,5 jam setelah matahari terbenam dan adalah waktu yang tepat untuk mengamati bintang.
